Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer with us and experience the joy of serving others!
Find a volunteer opportunity that fits your schedule and interests, and then fill out our Volunteer Application form. Many of our programs ask for at least a 3 month commitment from volunteers. If you are looking for a one time project or a short term volunteer opportunity, please check our special events and group projects page.

Youth Volunteers: Youth volunteers ages 16 & 17 can volunteer without parental supervision if a parent or guardian has signed the Parental Consent Form. Youth volunteers between the age 12 - 15 can volunteer with a parent or guardian present. For families with younger children, we encourage you to look at our special events - many of these events and projects are family friendly.

Groups: We would love to work with your group. We do many projects throughout the year that require groups of varying sizes. Please view our special events and group projects page to learn more.

Court-ordered Volunteers: We have limited opportunities for court-ordered volunteers. Many of these opportunities require heavy lifting / warehouse work. We do not accept volunteers with theft or violent offenses. Email kprettyman@voaww.org for more information.

Please note: It can take 1 - 2 weeks to process new volunteers before you are able to start, so please plan ahead.

We also offer a Senior Companion Program in King & Snohomish County, as well as a Retired & Senior Volunteer Program in Skagit County. These volunteer opportunities are for adults 55 and older.
