Title: Clerical Volunteer

Immediate Supervisor: Food Bank Manager

Association: Greenwood Food Bank

General Function:
Will perform various clerical tasks such as filing, word processing, data entry, misc. clerical requests, and mailings.

Qualifications:
Must be able to follow instructions and interact appropriately with various low-income and diverse populations in a non-discriminatory manner. Familiarity and experience with Word, Excel, and database management, and knowledge of office procedures. Strong organizational and communication skills. Be neat and clean in appearance. Familiarity with Volunteers of America’s mission statement.

Principle Activities:
Provide clerical support to the Greenwood Food Bank
Data entry
Copying, faxing, filing
Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Maintain an organized, clean, safe work area

End Results:
Clerical tasks provided are efficient and effective
Volunteer area is organized, efficient, effective
The function of the Basic Needs Services positively reflects on the Volunteers of
America to consumers, donors, agencies, the public, etc.
