Jail Transition Support Group Volunteer
Brief Description:
Housing & Transitional Services (HATS) Jail Release Volunteer will
facilitate support groups for former inmates. These support groups will provide an outlet and resource for men and women in transition.

Work Duties:
-Act as group facilitator and supporter during monthly support group meetings
-Encourage men and women to break out of old habits and prevent cycle of destructive
behaviors

*Prerequisite Information:
Attend volunteer orientation and complete volunteer paperwork
Timeframe:
2 one-hour meetings/month
6 month commitment
