To facilitate locally accessible, weekly recreational and educational opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities.

Volunteer Activities:
Assisting with the planning and implementation of weekly recreational activities and life-skills workshops for adults with developmental disabilities. Willingness to assume a leadership role a must.

Requirements (knowledge/skills)?
Consistency, reliability and a willingness to take on a leadership role within the program. Experience working with disabled adults desires, but not necessary.

Prerequisite Information:
Conduct background check
Complete volunteer placement application
Timeframe: Monday – Thursday (or any combination thereof), beginning November or December 2010, 2 – 3 hour time slots in the middle of the day.
