Helping America's Most Vulnerableā„¢

Hunger Prevention Services

Over 48,000 INDIVIDUALS WILL VISIT A FOOD BANK IN SNOHOMISH COUNTY ALONE THIS MONTH.

Our Work

Many local economic factors contribute to this demand on our food bank services and we find that the vast majority of our main customers, over 50% of which are children and seniors, come from working households, families on unemployment, or those on fixed incomes who struggle to make ends meet.

Volunteers of America Western Washington has food banks in Everett, Sultan, Mill Creek, and Greenwood/North Seattle which distribute emergency food to families, children, seniors, and individuals in need. Not only do we provide food to those in need, we work with community partners and coalitions to leverage community resources, raise awareness, and support for our hungry neighbors.

To ensure customers are using the food bank designated for their region, customers must provide a photo ID, bill, or piece of mail for proof of address that is less than 30 days old.
