Do you want to help us raise funds in a fun way? Do you want to gather food, school supplies, or toys for families and children in need? These are great opportunities for you, your family, your club, sports team, or work group to come out and feel good about giving back.

100+ Years of Service Volunteer Celebration Events for 2015

Volunteers of America Western Washington will be celebrating our 100 year anniversary throughout the 2015 calendar year and we welcome everyone to join us in the festivities.  Here is a list of upcoming events to celebrate the work that has been done over the past 100 years in Western Washington and for the continued efforts in the future that will help support our neighbors in need:

Aug 24th – Good Karma Monday with the AquaSox!  Purchase tickets at the gates on Monday, Aug. 24th for the Everett AquaSox vs. Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and proceeds from those tickets will go to support the amazing programs at Volunteers of America Western Washington.  Game time is 7:05pm.  All Volunteer Roles will be required to arrive 90 minutes before game time and help at Food Donation Box locations at the main gates through the 1st inning.  All volunteers can stay and watch the game after the 1st inning.

Community Volunteer Nights - Various Locations

Whether it’s just you and your sibling, niece or nephew, or with your kids, family-friendly volunteer opportunities provides families a way to positively impact their local community while spending quality time together and strengthening communication and bonds between parents and kids. Families can volunteer at our  monthly family-friendly volunteer projects, or hold a food drive on their own.
You do not have to go through volunteer orientation to participate in one of these events. Space is limited so please click on a date below to RSVP for an upcoming Community Volunteer Night. 

*Please note: These are not drop-off events. If your child is under the age of 16, there must be a parent or guardian present to volunteer with them. If your child is 16 or 17 and wants to volunteer alone, you must send them with a Parental Consent Form. Thank you!

Group Volunteers

Whether you’re looking for a team-building opportunity for your workplace, church, school, or club, we want your support! We frequently use groups at our Everett Food Bank on Fridays from 9am-2pm. We also have a wide variety of special events for groups. Please contact Volunteer Engagement at 425-259-3191 so that we can discuss your options.  Some restrictions (day/time/location) may apply. 


Work as a team to sort through food drive donations, checking for expiration dates, and other helpful activities. We can accommodate a group size up to 30.
