Help Families in Crisis Work Out Solutions to Move Forward.
We need YOUR help to help more.
Most people assume that if they needed emergency shelter tonight, they could get it. Unfortunately, more families currently seek emergency shelter than there are resources to provide it. We need support to increase our resources to address the demand.
Indicate which gift level below is right for you by clicking in the appropriate circle, or write in your own amount at the bottom. By then pushing "donate now", you will be directed to an online donation screen to process your gift.
Connecting Families with Information and Resources - $50
You can help a family find the information they need in our community. From providing information on local schools and school supplies programs to helping locate shelter for the homeless, our call center connects families with all health and human services in the community.
Resolving Conflict for a Family in Crisis - $100
Your gift can help a family work out their problems - whether that means getting parents to agree on a parenting plan during a painful divorce or helping a family reach an agreement with their landlord. Resolving disputes fosters healthy families and makes for more stable communities.
Childcare Subsidies for Parents in School or Work Training - $250
Your gift can help low-income parents with child care subsidies so they can focus on improving their marketability in the job market. Parents enrolled in a school or work training program to find better jobs often cannot afford quality child care. Through these subsidies, their children attend quality preschool that prepares them to enter school ready to learn.
Shelter for a Family - $1000
You can help a family experiencing homelessness work their way back to permanent housing. Children suffer most when a family is homeless and shelter is unstable. Whether working with our case managers for a few weeks in emergency shelter, or months in transitional housing, parents with stabilized housing can finally focus on rebuilding their - and their children's - lives.
