Make an impact on a forgotten child today

Volunteers of America Mentoring Children of Promise staff have the knowledge.  We have the expertise.  We have the infrastructure and volunteer mentors to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives on children with parents in prison.  What we need is the resources to make it happen, and that’s where YOU come in.

Your cash donations can assist with:

  • Educational opportunities for youth enrolled in Mentoring Children of Promise
  • Tickets for community activities for youth and mentors throughout the year
  • Sending one child to Camp Volasuca for one week in the summer
  • Purchasing sleeping bags, shampoo, toothbrushes, sunscreen, and bug spray for camp
  • Gifts for birthdays, Christmas and other special holidays and celebrations
  • Transporting children to and from camp each summer

And as a reminder, other ways you also can make a difference include:
