ABOUT THIS COURSE
The "Development Strategies for Understanding Trauma" course provides a comprehensive exploration of trauma and its profound impacts on individuals. They dig into foundational definitions and backgrounds of trauma, including insights from the ACE’s Study regarding adverse childhood experiences and their long-term health implications. The course also examines the connection between traumatic experiences and overall health, emphasizing the role of attachment in shaping development and coping mechanisms. Participants learn to recognize signs and symptoms of trauma, understand its neurological effects, and explore effective coping strategies for recovery.
