VOA Behavioral Program is sponsoring our first Out of the Darkness walk in Everett at Legion Park on Saturday, October 15th. I am excited to be this year's Team Captain and all of you are welcome to join our team, VOA's Crisis Voice. Any money raised goes to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Our involvement in this event will help raise awareness of our programs in Snohomish County.
You can participate in several ways:
1) Join the team to walk at Legion Park
2) Join the team as a "virtual walker" if you would like to do some fundraising, but cannot walk
3) Staff our Behavioral Health tent at the event

Hunger Goblin Trick-or-Treat Food Drive!
Wear your costume for a good cause! Volunteer for the annual Hunger Goblin Food Drive, which supports the VOAWW Bitter Lake Food Pantry. Costumed kids will be donating a can of food or $2 to the food bank in exchange for a trick-or-treat pass. This event brings in much needed holiday food donations, and we can't do it without you! This volunteer opportunity is family friendly!

Community Volunteer Nights
Whether it's just you and your sibling, niece or nephew, or with your kids, family-friendly volunteer opportunities provides families a way to positively impact their local community while spending quality time together and strengthening communication and bonds between parents and kids. Families can volunteer at our monthly family-friendly volunteer projects, or hold a food drive on their own.
You do not have to go through volunteer orientation to participate in one of these events. Space is limited so please click on a date below to RSVP for an upcoming Community Volunteer Night.
*Please note: These are not drop-off events. If your child is under the age of 14, there must be a parent or guardian present to volunteer with them. If your child is 14-17 and wants to volunteer alone, you must send them with a Parental Consent Form. Thank you!
