De-Escalation Training-APR 24

This half-day course offers participants the opportunity to look at their relationship with conflict, what happens to us when we get triggered, and how can we make positive choices to de-escalate conflict rather than make it worse. The course will also explore strategies that you can use to help others when they are triggered into battle mode. 

Expected Outcomes:

• Gain an understanding of interest-based conflict model

• Discuss best practices for self-de-escalation

• Discuss best practices for de-escalation of others

• Opportunity to practice skills
